All-State Chorus

All-State Chorus is a prestigious, annual statewide choral event that takes place in Athens, GA, in February.

The top middle and high school singers in the state are selected for All-State through a rigorous, two-part audition process that includes sight reading, scales, and a solo. Over the course of just a few rehearsals, nationally-recognized choral professionals lead ensembles to a powerful performance before packed houses at the Classic Center!

Students are recommended for All-State by their chorus instructor. Initial auditions are in November, but the preparation process begins early each school year with independent and after-school practices.
